Swan Princess fans and collectors have been very interested in original Swan Princess art.
When The Swan Princess had her 21st birthday on November 18, 2015 we were just beginning to discover the extensive fan base that dearly loves this classic film and brand. The interest we received helped us make the decision to open the doors to the warehouse that has stored all of the hand-painted art from the first 3 Swan Princess films. We wanted fans to be able to collect these incredible pieces of history.
Just 18 months later and the hundreds of thousands of cels we began with, in our warehouse, is looking much more sparse. Specifically this is true for the fan favorites and high-demand images such as Sequence 7-75 (Odette's Transformation).
This image has been requested so frequently that there is now only one set that is a complete numerical match as used in actual film production. Although, other transformation setups are available, they are also in high demand and are now premium collectible art.

One image that's popularity has been a surprise to us is Odette reading her book as a teenager:
It takes 24 painted animation cels to complete 1 second of animation. Odette is only shown in the armchair, reading her book for about 1 second. Therefore, we began with only 24 of this unique original.
